Mohamad Sharif, P. E.

Vice President, Senior Engineer

Sharif has worked since 1981 in the application of vibration limits and evaluation to specific projects using his engineering training and experience to provide safeguards for multiple projects. He is typically established as a Project Manager and On-Site Supervisor of projects that require specific engineering applications. He uses computer-aided analysis of structures to determine dynamic response, including seismic response, and provide further design of proper isolation systems to reduce vibration transmissibility from or to the machinery foundation. He provides preparation of proposals, scheduling and cost estimating for each project, finalizing the projects with the presentation of written and oral reports to clients demonstrating the company’s ability to meet necessary objectives and goals in solving dynamic problems.

Professional Experience:

Sharif is currently Vice President, Senior Engineer and Structural Dynamic Analyst for Vibra-Tech Engineers, Inc. He is also a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. In his career Sharif has focused upon developing solutions to problems due to the use of any product or equipment that causes noise and/or vibration that is considered a probable harmful source to surrounding properties. His experience provides inspection of structures subjected to ground vibration produced by blasting, traffic, machinery, and construction activity including the investigation and evaluation of seismic vulnerability of structures. Sharif has projects covering the mining, construction, medical and scientific community. These relate to large motions and development of criteria and projects for nanotechnology following all of the monitoring up with expert testimony and professional grade reporting.
