Casey Jennings

Area Manager

Casey is currently the Area Manager for the GeoSonics Connecticut office. He provides blasting and construction vibration monitoring management and design of monitoring programs, as well as providing inspection services in the areas of pre-post blast and construction evaluations for ongoing projects. Casey’s primary responsibilities include providing superior customer service while ensuring protection during construction and blasting projects.


Education:

  • MS – Mining & Minerals Engineering, Virginia Tech, 2017
  • BS – Geology & Environmental Engineering (minor), Clemson University, 2012

Continuing Education:

  • 40 Hour HAZWOPER
  • 24 Hour MSHA
  • 10 Hour OSHA

Professional Experience:

Casey has served as the Area Manager of the Connecticut office since 2017. He began working for Vibra-Tech in 2013 as a Field Technician in the South Carolina office where he installed seismographs and monitored vibration. He also oversaw contractor drilling and blasting on mining, construction and exploration sites. In addition, Casey performed geophysical surveys, pre and post blast inspections and damage claim investigations. After completing his master’s degree, he returned to Vibra-Tech in 2017 where he held the Project Manager position in the Hazleton office. In that role he regularly wrote proposals and technical reports and managed client relations.
