Sue has extensive experience in the construction and mining industry. Sue is currently the Area Manager of the Connecticut office of GeoSonics, Inc. After earning degrees in geology, she began her career in Houston, Texas, working in the oil and gas industry in exploration and production. Prospecting, drilling, field and office work provided her with the basis for risk management and business decisions. After nearly eight years in Texas, she took her experience and work ethic into the environmental industry at sites throughout New England and the eastern seaboard. Expanding her chemistry and regulatory background, she helped clients develop cost-effective approaches for project termination with approval by regulators, as well as doing field work, drilling, project management and budget development.
Sue joined GeoSonics in 2002, bringing her business background and field experiences to strengthen the New England office by both developing new projects and maintaining the inspection and monitoring clients so important to this office. Sue has also been on the board of the Connecticut Valley Society of Explosive Engineers and currently serves on the board of the New England Society of Explosive Engineers.
